If you want, if you must put this kind of information on your site, I frankly advise you to create a page being called, for example, ” our sujet” has;. But, I still repeat myself, avoid registering this style of information on your title page.

I’ve had a problem with my yahoo search marketing account yesterday, the problem was that I was receiving clicks, but those clicks didnt track in my account. So this means that yestrday I got a lot of traffic from them, I even had a record day, it was the best friday since 3-4 months. I dont know what happened but I like it this way. Someties the computer bugs are in your favour!

I dont know what to do to fix this. I’ve checked my account and it looks normal to me, I havent logged in yesterday so I didnt do any changes to it. It just happened.

I never asked for a click fraud report on my account even if i spend a lot of money on yahoo search marketing (more than $1k/day), so I consider it a pay back for the fraud clicks that I’ve received thru the time.

So I started out a new google adwords campaign for an insurance offer that converted really good on yahoo search marketing. I’ve managed to get a really big list of keywords, and everything was looking good. I was expecting to see some good conversion rates, and a good ROI. But that never happened.

I’ve spent around $40, and earned only $17.

Where did I go wrong on this one?

Well I allowed google to show my ads on its content network. So what my campaign did was having a lot of impressions from their content network, and just a couple of clicks. It is well known that these publishers networks can be a tricky place to do business. A lot of these publishers are just people that do PPC arbitrage that isnt quite bringing in value to the clicks, they just buy cheap clicks and sell them by using adsense.
You can either earn a lot of money and get a great ROI, or you could just get some dollars burned away.

SO what I’m saying is that when you first start a new advertising campaign with google be sure to turn off the publisher network. And only after you see good results with the search network, try to diversify by starting to use the publisher network.

When you want to create a website that will be build especially for a pay per click advertising campaign you must have in mind that you will get a certain type of audience, and you must do a lot of things in order to get the best conversion rates.

I have made a list of the things you will have to do in order to build up a webpage that will have a high conversion rate:

1. Make your website SCREEAAAM!!! You will definetely need to make your website to scream that the product or service that you are promoting is the best available, or it has the smallest price available. You will be able to do this by creating a page with some big titles with feature of the product.

2. Make a clean page: you must use a high professsional template in order to gain the trust of your visitors, if they see a website that looks bad they will not buy anything, and they will not trust you. You can get a lot of free templates that are looking really good, and that will improve your current conversion rates, if you have alreay a template for your website you might consider to change it in order to see if you could get a better respons from your costumers.

3. Another thing that I’ve heard really makes your conversion hit the sky is add a shop assistent that will tell your visitors some features of the products/service that you are trying to sell. There are many sites that are offering this kind of things, they are usually made in flash. Some sites are saying that they can improve your current conversion rates with as much as 40%. This will definetely bring in some more money, and it will be a perfect investment. Also I saw some really big websites from some large companies that are implementing these type of talking shop asistents in flash. I guess they really have something, or otherwise they wouldnt do it.
I still havent tryed such a thing but I guess I will do it in the future.

4. Dont write too much text for this kind of website, because you will get your costumer confused and bored and he will just leave your website without ever going to your merchant’s that you are promoting website. You must be short and go straight to the point. No bla blas.

When you talk about the other PPC search engines you dont take into consideration the 3 big ones (Google, Yahoo and MSN). There are many small PPC search engines, most of them are not worth the try, because the only thing that you will be able to do is waste your money.

SO far I have tryed the following small ppc search engines: 7search, genieknows, looksmart, about, miva(known as findwhat), kanoodle, enhance.

And just 7search proved to have a higher quality and to be able to provide some quality traffic that converts. With all the other PPC search engines all I was able to is waste money.
For example at genieknows I know I deposited $200, and in just 2-3 hours all the funds were spent, and I havent got any conversions.

I have tryed them all, what I just cant understand is how are they surviving, if they are not able to provide anything to their advertisers, are they only getting the money from advertisers that are always trying out something new, they see that it doesnt work, the ppc search engine takes the money, and life goes on? DO they have all their businesses online just to steal money from advertisers? I dont know if there is someone who gets a positive ROI from these search engines, but I doubt it.

There are many people that claim that they are earning few millions each year out of PPC arbitrage, and I really think that this is possible. Here I’m going to share with you my experience with this PPC arbitrage.

I’ve only done one test a long time ago something like 2 years ago. Back then the search engines had no limitation regarding the online pharmacy pay per click. So what I did is created a website made for adsense, with content about a drug, (tramadol), back then I was getting around $2-3/click from adsense, and I’ve brought traffic from findwhat kanoodle and 7search. And the ROI was positive

This worked only for one month, when I had around $100/day out of adsense PPC arbitrage. And it was good money to pay the bills. Just wish I come up with these ideas more often.

Since that time I havent really tryed anything else regarding this PPC arbitrage. It might pay off, but I dont really like it.

Since I’ve started to make reviews about all the PPC search engines that I’m using I couldnt skip the no 3 ppc search engine available online: MSN Adcenter.

They have just started their PPC this year, so they are new. At the beginning they were really great because only few people were using them, and they were exploited to the max for PPC arbitrage and stuff like that. I know I read somewhere that there was a time where you could get $60 sales with just $0.05 per click from an advertising campaign that has millions of keywords and that converts 1:10.

They are great, and they started to convert good for me since the moment they started. Right now I’ve paused a little bit the advertising campaigns. But I will resume them soon.

The main problem with msn is that they have a lower amount of traffic compared to Google and Yahoo search marketing, and it will only allow you to give you only 20-30% of the amount of traffic that you are probabily already getting from them.

And another problem is their advertiser interface that is always hard to use, slow, and full of bugs. Their reporting suck, the way you upload the keywords it’s difficult. It looks like it was made by some lowsy programmers from india.

So if you are serious about doing business online you must not let this method of advertising let you get out of your hand. Start by doing some tests and If it’s profitable for you use it! Even if you are not a big fan of windows and microsoft.

7search.com is one of the best PPC search engines in the small category. They claim that they receive 1.5B searches per month, so it’s not that little. So far they have been a good company to work with. I’ve been using them for 3 years now and so far I’ve spent around $150k. And received a pretty impressive return of investemnt from their traffic.

They are not like google or yahoo where you are sure you are getting only high quality traffic from their search engine, with 7search things can be a little tricky. For example you will get a decent amount of traffic in almost every industry that you are currently working with. And the problem is that only a couple of them are turning out to be profitable. For example you could earn $10k/month out of a certain ad campaign, and if you try to advertise something else in another industry, you could get only junk traffic and no ROI.

I’ve met them at the NY SES and they proved to be very friendly and open to talk about improving the business partnership.

So as a conclusion I think that 7search are a great company, but you have to be careful when working with them because sometimes things can get a little tricky. This because some of their traffic is coming from their publishers, some of them use good techincs to get the traffic and some of them are just junk. Good luck in using them
