While surfing the net I was able to find an interesting thing about google adsense. This guy tried the following thing, and icreased his adsense revenue:
He took out the publisher id from the adsense code, from one of his websites, and leave it like that for 2-3 days. When the publisher id (which is composed of some numbers) is not in the adsense code, google starts showing some higher quality ads to his website, because google doesnt have to pay his publisher for the clicks that are made during the time when the publisher id is not available. So during this period the adsense bot, keeps on visiting a lot his website and he is getting high quality ads, and after 2-3 days, he puts back the adsense code how it used to be at the beginning, with the publisher id, and guess what he got some really nice ads, and a good CTR, and finally he got a lot for $s for each click he sent, for a period.
He claims that this thing have been tested by many people and that they all got the same results, so if you would like to get a higher revenue from GOogle Adsense you could try this.
Some may think that by doing this you are breaking the google adsense TOS, and we all know that you arent allowed to alter the source code that they provide, but I guess that eventually there are many websites that are doing this, and I think it’s impossible to get caught with this practice, since there isnt a way to track this.
I really think that you could give it a try, and if it proves to be successful, do it often to more of your websites, where you are showing adsense ads.
