Now this is the most important thing you have to do when you want to start building a website that is going to be successful.
When you want to start building a brand for a website you must first select one or two colors that are going to be the main colors used on that website. It is important that they are good colors for your main audience. For example if your main audience are males dont use PINK!
The second thing to do is create a logo. Sometimes to create a logo I use websites like www.templatesbox.com Or others that are offering free logos in the PSD format.
This way you will be able to get a cool professional logo free and you will be able to modify it in photoshop so that it will best fit your website. You can also change the colors with your brand colors.
The last thing to do and the most important is to get a great domain name. Some of my websites have names that were taken from deleted domains, from people that registred it and droped it after a while. And some are just my ideas. I consider this the most important step in creating a brand name. Because once you have a domain name you cant change it anymore and you will have to use it from that moment on.
I will make a post with exactly the steps that are being done when I will select the domain name for this blog.
