Website statistics

online marketing Add comments

I have been using different website statistics for a long time, at the beginning I was using sitemeter.com which was good, I really enjoyed watching those statistics, in order to have my stats tracked I remember that I had to put up a button with sitemeter on the main page of my website, which was looking pretty bad since it had some not so nice colors (violet and dark green), I think I still have websites with that kind of statistics but in the mean time a lot of things changed, and I dont use those websites anymore.

After that the 2nd step in the history of statistics was that I’ve moved to a paid hosting and I’ve started my own website that was beginning to be really important. So I was using a low cost webhosting called globat, and I think I still have that website on. That lowcost webhosting, was offering free stats (aWstats) and they were pretty neat.

But now you need a lot more information about the users that are visiting your site, in order to know what kind of marketing practice are the best, and concentrate and focus on those that work, because time is precious. So I started to use the ultimate type of statistics (GOOGLE ANALYTICS) They are great, I enjoy watching my stats, their user interface is cool, they are more exact than any other types of statistics that I’ve used until now.
