Okay so I’ve started to read about SEO, since everybody said it’s free traffic, but you have to work for it, and before I’ve started reading I’ve brought a domain name and a server for a website that I wanted to advertise by using SEO techniqs. The first article that I was reading was telling you step by step what you have to do in order to get that top position and stay there for a long time.
So the first step was to select your domain name, and it stated there that under no circumstances do not use the word “best” in you domain name… and I was… like :-O too bad I’ve invested a lot of my money to buy that domain name that I considered great, and now they say that I’ve done the biggest mistake????
Now this really made me feel sad, but hey nothing can stop me now that I’ve started to do SEO. So after 5-6 months from that moment, after reading millions of articles and blogs, and asking questions on related forums. I’ve managed to be #1 for an important keyword on yahoo.com. And stay there for at least 2 years, and during that time I was earning 100% profit out of that website that had the domain name wrong. I was earning around $1k/day. Each day was passing by and my bank account grew by $1k. Those were happy days.
The problem with SEO is that you cant keep you no 1 listings forever, and sometimes it will happen for you to fall.
But you can always get back again in the top.
As far as I’m concerned so far I’ve earned a lot of money out of PPC search engines and adevertising, but SEO was the most profitable online business I’ve done.
So to make the story short, even if you’ve read somewhere that you are wrong if you really believe in yourself you will break thru and be able to become that no 1 that one of the kind, the king of the universe.
