I’ve had this idea few days ago and I would like to share it with you. Here’s the thing, you signup for a really cool webhosting company and pay $25/month, i consider it a good cost, since you are going to get houndreds of thousands of links out of it, and pages of content.
You buy that hosting plan and you will start offering free hosting, with that free hosting all you ask back is one link to your website, there will be alot of websites, there are many people that want free hosting, and they will upload their work on your servers, it will take a little of you time to check their websites so that they dont break any rules, and if they do you will have to delete their accounts, but i think that it wont take you more than 10-20 minutes per day to do that, or you could even hire somebody to do that for you since it’s not an important thing anyone could do it.
It will take some time at the beginning to get the people to know that you are offering ad free webhosting for nothing.
And after some time it will pay off your investment. I think that in less than 2 months you will be on profit from all the content that you have on your server, and also this content will get links from other websites.
I plan to do that in the future and I will let you know what the results are.
There are many ways to monetize free hosting, you could use adsenes, YPN (Yahoo publisher network), revenuepilot, and many other that are just waiting to get traffic from you.
