Only few people are successful at SEO because there are only few spots left. For example if you want to earn some decent money, you must be in top 10. You arent going to receive any massive amounts of traffic if you are on the 2nd page or the 3rd.
I was ranking pretty well for the keyword “refinance”, which is a well searched term in United States, and I only got 2 leads/month, which is almost close to nothing.
The main reason why some people are successful at SEO is that those people dont give up. It happened to me many times when I wanted to give up on something, on a SEO project, and in just 2 or 3 weeks from that moment I was starting to show up in the search. And started to earn a decent amount of money out of that traffic.
